What’s banned in Scotland, Germany, Australia and 26 states in the U.S., can’t be bought over the counter in England or Wales, has fantastic health benefits, yet big business and government bodies want it kept illegal?
Raw milk of course!
What is it? Raw milk is milk straight from the cow, unpasteurised and unhomogonised, all its healthy natural bacteria intact, none of the fat content messed around with for the sake of the supermarket.
Steve is a raw milk dairy farmer, his wife bottles the milk in the kitchen and his dad delivers it door to door. He is a model farmer with an uncommon concern for Ida, Kate, Ruby and his 52 other cows, but it’s an uphill battle to make sustainability pay.
The moo man is a David & Goliath story full of charm and warmth about a compassionate farmer’s believe in raw milk and his family business, in a world dominated by supermarkets and dairy giants.
Stay tuned to hear all about the making of our film over the coming year…
